From tattooing through the AIDS crisis, to women running shops when men wouldn’t even tattoo them, to the underground years when being queer and tattooed was criminalized, we uncover the stories that matter.
Representation isn’t optional—it’s survival. COVERED exists to make sure the Girls, Gays, and Theys of tattooing are finally written back into history.
